AAFB seeks feedback on site proposal
The Andersen Air Force Base Installation Restoration Program will be presenting final proposal plans for remedial alternatives for numerous sites during a public meeting this Thursday. Thtee proposed plans that evaluate the potential risks for both humans and the environment, have been prepared for sites within the main base operable unit and the Northwest Field operable unit.
The final remedy will be selected after public comments are received. The public meeting will get underway on August 2 at the Guam Marriot Resort beginning at 6:30pm.
Copies of the proposed plans are currently available at the Nieves M. Flores Public Library in Hagatna and at the Robert F. Kennedy Library at the University of Guam in Mangilao.
