The Office of the Public Auditor has released the findings of its review on whether government agencies and departments are in compliance with submitting their quarterly financial reports. According to public law, agencies are required to submit reports manually, electronically, and post on the entity's web site. Should they fail to do so, each director, deputy and chief financial officer shall have her gross salary reduced by 20%.However, the deduction will only start applying during the 3rd fiscal quarter, as the current financial report covers 2nd quarter financials. According to the OPA, there's been a dramatic improvement to almost full compliance among the fifty-eight entities that submitted their reports.Review the full report from GuamOPA.org
