Three students competing in mainland voc-tech competition

The Guam Community College has sent three students to represent the island at the annual SkillsUSA competition in Kansas City, Missouri. Abby Farmer will compete in the medical assisting category, while both James Avery and John Sablan will compete against other high school and college students in automotive service technology competitions.

SkillsUSA is an organization that helps to prepare secondary and post-secondary students for the workforce. The competition runs from June 25-29.
