The five-member band MUD, native to Guam, recently cut a deal with Talking House Records, a prestigious independent label. MUD's growing popularity in the U.S. mainland has earned them regular gigs in the San Francisco bay area, and regular radio play on the West Coast and on Guam.

These talented musicians have earned some well-deserved recognition and in the upcoming months are looking forward to the completion of their new album, as well as playing in the South by Southwest Music Festival, and the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. They are currently visiting the island, and held a press conference this morning at Shimbros Music Store and are planning to play some shows during their visit.
