Cocos Lagoon users and the Guam Environmental Protection Agency will receive a presentation from the United States Coast Guard in reference to the lagoon's safety. The mayor of Merizo, Rita Tainatongo, will host the meeting at the Merizo Community Center.

The meeting is tentatively set for Friday at 7pm, pending the Coast Guard's availability. Last Monday the Guam EPA reported that fish samples in the Lagoon had high levels of PCBs.
