30-year-old Duane Anthony Calvo was sentenced in the District Court of Guam this morning to fifteen years in jail and five years supervised release for attempted possession with the intent to distribute the drug "ice". Calvo pleaded guilty to the charges last April. It was a year ago Calvo, along with former firefighter Troy Santos and Raymond Calvo, were indicted on federal charges. The three were convicted of attempting to possess and distribute approximately two kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride. Calvo also had a prior drug trafficking conviction.
