Crimestoppers looking for leads to help solve taxicab robbery

The Guam Police Department and Guam Crimestoppers need your help in cracking the case of a woman robbery in a taxicab. Records state that between 6-7am on August 21, a female tourist was robbed in the Tanguissan Beach area in Dededo. It was reported to law enforcement authorities that the woman was picked up by a taxi in the Tumon area and driven to Tanguissan Beach, where the taxi driver allegedly robbed the woman of her backpack.

The robber got away with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency, credit cards and a cellular phone. No description of the suspect or vehicle was provided by the victim.
