A local plumbing company came across ancestral remains on Monday afternoon. Sergeant Donald Flickenger, an officer with the Guam Police Department's Tamuning Precinct, confirms bones were found after crews were digging a hole along Fujita Road.

Medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola confirmed the bones appeared to be ancestral remains. Police also found what appeared to be pottery and a sling stone with the remains. Sergeant Flickenger says the area has been roped off, and Pacific Historical Resources, Inc. is now excavating the area.
