Not surprisingly, Democrats were not as enthusiastic as Republicans about Governor Felix Camacho's State of the Island Address, presented today. Senator Lou Leon Guerrero, who was the Democrat majority leader in the 27th Guam Legislature, said she felt the Governor's speech was a report card of what the 27th Legislature accomplished and said she was disappointed the Governor didn't give the 27th any credit.

Senator Leon Guerrero told KUAM News, "The labors, the efforts, the hard work, the risk that the Democratic Legislature of the 27th Guam Legislature took I think is now seeing the success and the results that the Governor had said."

Fellow Democrat Senator B.J. Cruz said he believes the Governor's speech was light on content and contradictory. "The labors, the efforts, the hard work, the risk that the Democratic Legislature of the 27th Guam Legislature took, I think, is now seeing the success and the results that the Governor had said," explained the freshman policymaker.
