If you were wondering whom some of the major contributors to the special interest group the Communities Opposing Proposal "A" were, here are some of the larger donors COPA reported in their recent financial disclosure filing with the Guam Election Commission. The largest cash donor at $25,000 was Duty Free Shoppers.

The SandCastle, the Bank of Guam, and First Hawaian Bank all kicked in $10,000 contributions to the fight against legalized casino gaming. Making $5,000 donations were Kloppenburg Enterprises, Underwater World, GameWorks, Atlantis Guam, and the Alupang Beach Club. A number of companies and organizations provided non-monetary and in-kind contributions, including the law firm of Arriola, Cowan & Arriola, rendering $20,000 worth of free legal services.

COPA report receiving a total just under $138,000 while spending over $143,000 during the Decision 2004 season.
