The recount of ballots from the General Election continued today at the Guam Election Commission's headquarters in the GCIC Building in Hagatna. GEC Board of Directors chairman Fred Horecky told KUAM News that Senator Joanne Brown still leads by 10 votes over Speaker Ben Pangelinan for the 15th seat on the forthcoming 28th Guam Legislature.

So far, ballots from 15 precincts have been counted of the total 53. Today marks the tenth day the GEC Board and staff have been counting more than 30,000 ballots. Completion of the recount is expected to be done in the next few weeks.
