Without doubt, aside from KUAM's online news, the most popular online service on KUAM.COM has been Familiar Faces, our online/on-air collection of photos and captions submitted by people all over the world. Well, I'm happy to let you know that the service is getting a major and admittedly much-overdue overhaul, all in the name of progress.

And I guarantee you'll be pleased with the new changes.

First, feedback from our members has noted that you want a more-rapid response in the time it takes to see your submissions posted on our site. Done! The new Familiar Faces adds new photos daily, making the wait time almost nil. Almost.

Next, your Familiar Faces truly become yours. You'll get your own customizable personal photo scrapbook with which to archive all your photos and captions, which you can organize by categorizing your pictures. You can also make your photo gallery more "you" by applying your own custom skins, changing the color and fonts used, letting it reflect more of your personality.

Also, even if you just browse Familiar Faces without posting images, you'll be able to interact with all of our members by posting comments for any Familiar Face appearing on KUAM.COM, and read comments posted by other users. So you can leave a greeting or say "hi" to anyone posting a picture and let them know you saw them online!

What this equates to is us featuring more community pictures, more often. (And at the risk of being a tad haughty, the new features are unbelievably cool.) I know you're going to really enjoy interacting with us with your pictures, so make sure to keep an eye out for our new changes on our Familiar Faces page, as it's coming soon!

If you're a part of the KUAM.COM Beta Test Community, you'll be informed of the new changes to play with. If you'd like to signup as a beta tester and get a sneak peek at all of the new features we're baking-into KUAM.COM before they go live, send me an e-mail.
