I'm a big advocate of the theory that the largest room in the world is the room for improvement. As an indicator of such, I'm proud to announce our latest online product that lets you access stories that the KUAM News team has published quickly and painlessly.
Last month, we added full-text searching support to our internal search engine, KUAM Search, which gives you the ability to find any story we've put on the Web. It greatly improved the user experience people have in finding stuff on KUAM.COM, but it still wasn't perfect.
Many people who've previously seen a story we've broadcast, to my surprise, tend to vaguely recall the date on which a certain story ran, in addition to context of the story itself. Days, weeks or months later, a student may need a copy of a story we did for a research project, a lawyer may need a description of a court proceeding, or a proud auntie may want to re-read about her nephew's high school graduation. What would be best in cases like this would be f they could search content based on a certain date or range of dates, rather than blindly entering text searches and having to manually filter through potentially hundreds of links, hoping to land a match.
So not being the type to leave just good enough alone, we've added a new component to our search framework, letting you get right to the stories that you're after with minimal effort with our new search utility, KUAM Rundown Search. This new tool complements the existing KUAM Search utility we've had online, by letting you see what stories we did for either a specific day or an entire week.

Finding news stories on KUAM.COM has never been easier. You're now able to do general searches in the KUAM News Archives, or simply find out what ran and when. So check it out, give it a spin, bookmark it, and have fun using it. I'm confident you'll be pleased with the results and enjoy visiting our site so much more.
But the key concept behind product development is constant interaction with those who use it. I'm always happy to hear from viewers and get your feedback, so if there's something we don't have that you'd like to see on our site, drop me a line at jason@kuam.com and we'll start working on it.
