Don't try to deny it, you know you love it, after all, the statistics prove it! What else could I be talking about but about Spam. Nowhere on Earth do people eat more Spam per capita than on Guam. If you don't believe me, ask Steve Bremner, product manager for Hormel, the manufacturer of Spam.

Bremner confirms that Guam is the Spam capitol of the world. Spam got is start on Guam during World War II when American GIs brought the processed meat to the island as part of their rations. In honor of Guam's 60th anniversary of the liberation of Guam, Hormel is releasing a special edition can. "This is a tribute to the love affair of Spam that is so much a part of Guam's heritage," said Bremner.

The special edition can Spam hits Guam stores today. Bremner notes the special edition can is only on Guam and was produced in a limited run, so he says if you want one for yourself, you'd better not wait.
