Add KUAM.COM's news headlines to your Web site!

Now you can add even more exposure to your Web site by getting the latest news, information and entertainment about Guam!

By adding a few lines of code to your homepage, you'll be able to install our "NewsGrabber" application and have our headlines appear on your site...and never have to touch it again!

Here's all you'll need to do:

Webmasters

Webmasters may insert a snippet of HTML code which will place the KUAM.COM headlines on your page(s) by referencing a JavaScript file.  The headlines will conform to inline cascading stylesheet rules (CSS) on each client page, if applicable.

1.  Select the section in your Web page where you'd like the headlines to appear.

2.  Either insert this chunk of HTML code in the area you selected for automatic insertion of our daily headlines, or this chunk of HTML code to link to our "Week In Review" recap.

3.  Save your edited page and check your work in a Web browser.

4.  E-mail us and let us know that you've added our headlines to your site and we'll feature you as a select Marketing Affiliate Partner (MAP).

Developers

Software developers have more customization and control over what newsfeeds they receive for their site(s).  The KUAM.COM headlines may be ported directly through an XML-based solution to the client page, and rendered and formatted according to specifications determined by the developer.

For example, you could also have the newsfeeds be evaluated according to category or content, to only receive and display certain newsfeeds on the client page.

1.  Select the section in your Web page where you'd like the headlines to appear.

2.  You may use your own parsing solution by pulling the KUAM.COM headlines off of our site with our headlines as an RSS XML feed, or you can have more customizable access by calling our headlines as an XML Web service.  The latest headlines will be automatically reflected on your site as we update KUAM.COM.

3.  Save your edited page and check your work in a Web browser.

4.  E-mail us and let us know that you've added our headlines to your site and we'll feature you as a select Marketing Affiliate Partner (MAP).

The KUAM.COM headlines should now appear automatically as we update them on our site.

That's it!   Have fun designing your page.  We're also working on other apps that you can use in presenting our headlines.  You may also use your own applications to grab our headlines from the following URL only: http://www.kuam.com/marketingprograms/headlinegrabber.htm

If you do try to parse with an external application, we require that you inform us prior to implementation.  As an example, you could include the page in a frameset, indicating the URL above as the source document for a smaller frame, while your own Web page loads a larger frame, or calling the page via a parsing statement.

Please review our Terms of Use for details on use of our information.  If you have any problems, please e-mail us.
