The U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam's Command Center and a helicopter crew from the U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 rescued five divers off the southern tip of Saipan yesterday. The Coast Guard was notified of the missing divers around 1pm.
Two hours later, the divers had been hoisted on board by the HSC-25 and were on their way to shore. The individuals appeared to be in good condition and none required medical attention.
The incident remains under investigation.
