As part of their concerted efforts to educate voters about the impact of visitor dedicated gaming on Guam, the Committee on Responsible Gaming this afternoon unveiled an expose on gaming in Asia, produced by Manila-based newsman Mike Cohen, who studied gaming in Asia for over 20 years.
According to Committee chairman E.J. Calvo, they were interested in Cohen's work because it provides an objective viewpoint of just how important it is for destinations to constantly be trying to be current and keeping pace with desires of travelers in Asia.
The Committee has purchased airtime to broadcast the 30-minute program, showing first on November 1 at 6:30pm on KUAM-T8, and again at 7pm on KUAM-TV11.
