Stakeholders from Wettengel or Eloy Q Benavente Elementary School will have the opportunity to speak for or against the renaming of their school tonight at 6pm. The Guam Education Policy Board approved the renaming of several northern schools, but put a hold on it after stakeholders became outraged with the decision.
The board is expected to address the issue on November 26. Meanwhile, another meeting is scheduled for next Monday at Liguan or Mildred Lujan Bamba Elementary School in Dededo.
