Former Guam Public School System superintendent Luis Reyes and his attorney, along with the Guam Education Policy Board and its attorney, will be meting on Saturday for an arbitration hearing. Reyes initially sought $500,000 from GPSS, claiming he was wrongfully terminated that that the agency had violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Reyes would later offer to settle for a lumpsum payment of $150,000, which was denied by members of the GEPB and by Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo.
The hearing will be held at 8am at the GPSS Conference Room in Hagatna.
