The two island residents elected in November to serve on the Consolidated Commission on utilities were sworn into office Tuesday afternoon. Joey Duenas is former director of the Department of Revenue & Taxation and a former member of the Public Utilities Commission, while Gloria Nelson is an incumbent.
The CCU in the meantime is discussing water problems plaguing Barrigada and possible revisions to the Guam Waterworks Authority's Lifeline Rate.
