Anita Manibusan, Ronald Ayuyu new members of GEPB

Published Nov 20, 2008

There are two new members to the Guam Education Policy Board after it was determined and certified that Anita Manibusan and Ronald Ayuyu met the required 10% threshold as mandated by law.   However, according to Guam Election Commission executive director John Blas, one vacancy remains each in the Kattan and Luchan districts, because the additional write-in candidates in those respective districts did not receive enough votes to be certified.

This now means it will be up to the governor to appoint members to fill those open slots.
