Davie, FL – February 4, 2019 /MarketersMedia/

Inscape Beauty Salon, the hair color experts, announces they are offering a free shampoo and haircut to individuals affected by the recent government shutdown. While the shutdown has ended after 35 days, funding is only in place until February 15, 2019 for nine of 15 federal departments. As a result, many individuals are letting non-essentials slide, and the salon wants to help these people. The free shampoo and haircut for federal employees are offered Tuesdays only from January 29 to February 26, 2019, and individuals must present a valid federal government ID to obtain the services at no charge.

“The shutdown has had far-reaching consequences, as people are scared to spend any money right now. Although back pay has been granted to these individuals, they don’t know if another shutdown will occur in February or where talks are going to lead. We recognize this and want to thank them for helping run this great country and the free shampoo and haircut is a great way to do so,” Marccia Le Conte, spokesperson for Inscape Beauty Salon explains.

Approximately 800,000 federal workers were affected by the shutdown. Some workers continued to work throughout the shutdown although they weren’t being paid to do so. Others could not find temporary employment as a result of their job within the government also. This left many families wondering where to turn for help.

“Inscape Beauty Salon understands a person wants to look and feel their best at all times. This can be difficult to do in a situation such as this. A shampoo and haircut may be put aside so the family can have food on the table or pay their mortgage. We are offering the free services to show our support for these individuals as they wait to see where this process leads,” Le Conte continues.

For those not affected by the shutdown, the salon also has offers available to save on desired services. Visit today and receive 20 percent off any hair or nail service for new customers or a free haircut with a keratin treatment. These are only two of the current offers for those patronizing the salon.

“Visit us today to learn how we can help you achieve the look you desire. You deserve beautiful hair and we are here to help you do so. Whether a person wishes to have their hair cut, colored, smoothed or extensions, the team can be of assistance. Make an appointment today. We can’t wait to see you,” Le Conte states.
