Queensland’s Elite Holiday Homes is pleased to announce their response to the recent 60 Minutes episode. Entitled “Maximum Love,” the show highlights the story of a family dealing with the ups and downs of having a severely autistic son. With a heart of compassion for the struggles they face managing their household day to day, the company reached out to the family to offer them some much needed rest and relaxation with a week long stay in one of their Luxury Holiday Homes.

Shelley Jeffery of Elite Holiday Homes commented, “Trying to keep up with the responsibilities of juggling work and family is difficult enough, even without the added stress of caring for someone with autism. Though the 60 Minutes story makes it clear how much Max’s family loves him, there’s no doubt that his increasingly violent outbursts are taking their toll on everyone. “We figured the Whelan family could all use a bit of breathing room so they can get away from the stress which has become a permanent part of their everyday lives.”

Moved by the Whelan’s 60 Minutes story, Elite Holiday Homes has offered the family accommodation in a luxury Gold Coast Rental in order to give them a chance to relax and unwind. The family will be staying at the home between the 14th and the 20th of November. With Max unable to travel, he and his father will get some downtime at home while the rest of the family takes a break.

Jeffery went on to say, “With so much of their time, money, and energy dedicated to helping Max learn to thrive in the world, we know this family already has so much to worry about. We hope that a trip to one of our luxury Executive Rentals, can bring them a bit of joy and happiness as they navigate this tough situation.”
