Recount decision delayed until Friday

Guam - The scheduled meeting of the board of directors for the Guam Election Commission to certify the results of Tuesday night's/Wednesday morning's General Election results has been postponed due to a lack of quorum, KUAM News has learned.

A decision on the possible recount of the gubernatorial race has therefore been delayed until Friday at 4pm.

    An man was transported to Naval Hospital after being involved in an auto-pedestrian incident near Pigo Cemetery earlier today. According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Kevin Reilly, GFD units responded to the incident and CPR was conducted at the scene as well as enroute to NRMC. Northbound lanes are currently closed as GPD conducts its investigation.
