Guam – First, two officers with the Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency, then one employee working for the Department of Public Works, and now two more employees have failed a random drug test - this time at the Port Authority of Guam. Port General Manager Rick Agustin declined comment on the matter, saying it's of a personnel nature.
Agustin could only confirm with KUAM News that the agency recently conducted a random drug test on those employees who occupy testing designated positions, and that two employees tested positive. Agustin says administrative action has been taken against both of them, but he could not release the position of the employees or the type of action that was taken.
Port board of directors chairperson Monte Mesa tells KUAM News that the drug testing is conducted to ensure that the employees of the PAG comply with all personnel rules and regulations.
