Guam - Two pieces of legislation dealing with legal services were introduced this week. Senator Tom Ada's Bill 344 would require agencies permitted to retain counsel other than the Attorney General's Office, and to hire an unclassified in-house legal counsel at a annual salary rate not exceed $125,000.
Meanwhile, Senator Telo Taitague introduced Bill 345, which authorizes the Office of the Attorney General to recover costs associated with providing statutorily mandated legal services to agencies and programs that are not supported by the tax base of the Government of Guam.
