Abandoned infant found in hotel

A female infant was found abandoned at the Dai Ichi Condominium in Tamuning this morning. Officers from the Frankie Smith Police Station were called to the condo where police found an unclothed newborn, who had been left on a bench at a condominium.

Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman says a tenant contacted medics and police after they heard the doorbell ring. When they opened the door, they found a female newborn. Police believe the infant may have only been a few hours old. Witnesses saw two women in the area who may have been operating a blue or turquoise colored sedan.
