Chamber of Commerce elects board

Elections were held today for the Guam Chamber of Commerce's eight board of director positions. Six voting directors who will serve a three-year term are:

  • Laura–Lynn Dacanay, SVP/Region Manager, First Hawaiian Bank
  • Charlene Goo, Vice President-Operations, Pacific Region, Outrigger Guam Resort, OHANA Bayview Guam, OHANA Oceanview Guam
  • Monte Mesa, General Manager, Guam Premier Outlets
  • Lucy Alcorn, President & CEO, GFS Group
  • Jay Rojas, Executive Vice President, SEI Guam
  • Robert Stoll, Associate Resident Director, VP, Merrill Lynch

The two (2) Alternate Directors elected to serve a one–year term are:

  • Mark Sablan, VP/ Business Development, South Pacific Petroleum Corp.
  • Lou Leon Guerrero, President, CEO, Chair of the Board, Bank of Guam.

The eight directors elected today will join twelve holdovers and comprise the 2010 Chamber Board.  The holdovers are:

  • Michael R. Ady, M80 Office Systems, Inc.
  • Joe M. Arnett, Partner, Deloitte & Touche, LLP
  • Paul L. Blas, General Manager, Seabridge, Inc.
  • Frank J. Campillo, Health Administrator, Calvo's Insurance
  • David J. John, President, Asc Trust Corporation
  • Donna Kloppenburg, Owner & Ceo, Kloppenburg Enterprises, Inc.
  • George Lai, President, Quality Distributors
  • Kaleo S. Moylan, Director, Moylan's Insurance
  • Annmarie Muna, President, Am Insurance
  • Gerald S.A. Perez, Vice President, Micromed Suppliers
  • Stephen C. Ruder, President, Ruder Integrated Marketing Strategies
  • Sinforoso "Rossi" Tolentino, Administering Partner, Carlsmith Ball Llc
